It is always important to pay attention to the temperature of your nutrient solution. If the temperature of the solution gets too high, it can result in algae production and a dramatic reduction in bound oxygen. This will lead to reduced crop yields, or in the worst case, the destruction of your crops through root diseases such as Pythium.

Aquarists will be familiar with a similar problem. Whether you keep aquatic animals or grow aquatic plants, optimal water temperature is essential for their satisfaction.


Absolutely ideal for summer operation of aquariums or hydroponic systems (NFT systems, GHE systems or aeroponic systems). It has never been so easy to keep the solution temperature at optimum values during hot periods. BOYU coolers are easy to use and have a strong robust metal housing with a modern design.

To operate the BOYU L-200 cooler you only need a BOYU FP- 2000 pump (not included), which is compatible.

The BOYU L-200 solution cooler uses a microcomputer control for convenience and has an automatic circuit shutdown protection system to prevent burnout when the motor overloads. It has an anti-corrosive all-titanium outlet for both fresh and salt water.

Quiet operation.
Environmentally friendly R134a refrigerant used.
Can be used for fresh and salt water cooling.
Very quickly cools the solution to the desired values in the range of 35°C to 18°C.
