The probe should be placed at a specific location where you want to measure the temperature. If you want to measure the temperature at the roots, you need to insert the probe into the base of the greenhouse. Hang up the air dampers to measure the air temperature.
The root temperature can be 1 to 2 degrees higher than the air temperature. If the ambient temperature is too high, it will not be significantly cooler in the greenhouse!
