The Cooltube reflector was launched by Prima Klima in 1996. Cools-hade from England served as a model and was modified and improved accordingly. Prima Klima Cooltube basically consists of a BSG (borosilicate glass) glass tube with high light transmission. Flanges made of heat-resistant and impact-resistant nylon separate the air tube from the heat from the lamp and at the same time serve as holders for reflector shades made of eco-coated aluminum (PVD). The exterior shades of the reflector can be easily modified to meet the lighting requirements of the room. When removing shades, Cooltube can also be used to illuminate a room in 360 degrees. Due to their tunnel cooling effect, Cooltubes can be placed in close proximity to illuminated plants, which allows much better use of light output.
